Withdrawal & Detox Services

Withdrawal management (detox) services provide a range of medical and support services in safe environments that allow for the physical withdrawal from specific drugs and alcohol.

Withdrawal management may be achieved through inpatient services, day programs or in-home services.

Dependent on the community in which you live services offered may include:

  • Withdrawal management (social detoxification)
  • Screening and assessment
  • Brief intervention
  • Addictions support

*Victoria Community Medical Detox will be undergoing renovations beginning late August 2019 for approx. 6 months. During this time Detox will be operating from EMP 5B (across the hall from the current location) and the Stabilization Unit will be located at the Patient Care Center on the 5th floor.
