Volunteer Resources & Engagement is proud to support volunteer programs within the Cowichan Valley and Southern Gulf Islands.
Volunteers in the Cowichan area support Island Health patients, residents, clients, visitors and staff through a variety of different programs.
A few examples include: activity volunteer (supporting games and social activities with Long-Term Care residents), social engagement volunteer (one-on-one social interaction with residents and patients) and clinic support volunteer (providing wayfinding and information to patients and clients visiting clinics within the hospital).
