Volunteer Resources & Engagement is proud to support volunteer programs within Port Alberni, Tofino and Ucluelet.
Volunteers in the Port Alberni, Tofino & Ucluelet areas support Island Health patients, residents, clients, site visitors, and even staff through a variety of different programs.
A few examples include: emergency department support (supporting patients when they arrive at the emergency room), social engagement volunteer (one-on-one social interaction with residents and patients) and clinic support volunteer (providing wayfinding and information to patients and clients visiting clinics within the hospital).
